Trek-2- Beas Kund,  No. of Days: 4

 

Day 01: Manali (2000 m) to Dhundi (2800m) about 3 hours walk. (Manali to Solang valley by drive & treak starts from Solang valley, a easy treak along with the Bear river & through pine forest, a place to look some rare birds & small bear. To get a look of wild animal is depends on the camping area & time.

Day 02: Dhundi to Bhuj Patter (3600m), about 6 hours walk. (A camping in a morain next to the Beas Kund Glacier & Surrended by may peaks. A boundary line camping of tree line & the snow line. The beas Kund Glacier is about 3 KM long, 1.5 Km wide & 600 ft deep.

Day 03: Bhuj Patter to Beas Kund ( 3800 m) & Back to Bhuj Patter , about 7 hours walk. ( A small but very deep lake on the base of the Setia Dhar peak. The legendry man Rishi Beas used to take his daily bath at this lake during his mediation. The name of the area is after the name Beas Rishi.

Day04: Back to Manali via Patalsu  base. Today all the area is through deep forest covering a beautiful & old village, Solang village. One can have a look of many animals.

The cost includes: Tent, Sleeping bag, carry mat, food (bed tea, break fast, lunch evening tea, dinner) guide, cook, porters, pony, medical kit during the trek.

What to bring: Good jacket, good shoes, good Ruck sack, cap, torch light, small knife, rain coat & personal gear.


One Day Trek

Vashisht to jogni fall, Goshal Village, Old Manali, New Manali to come back Vashisht

Trek-3- Bhirighu Lake, No. of days – 3

 

Day 01: Manali (2000m) to Kothi peak base (3300m) , about 4 hours walk. (Manali to Gulaba drive, it takes about one hours & trek starts from here, today one can see many type of wild flowers which belongs to different flower family including blue pupy & wild rose. A place of thick Rododrandum Bush.

Day 02:  Kothi peak base to Bhrigu Lake ( 4200m) , about 8 hours walk, ( A heaven on mountain, The Bhrighu Lake is not so huge, beauty is favulous. According the Hindu religious this was the paddy field of Pandavas during thier exile. This lake was used by the PARI of god for bath.

Day 03: Bhrighu lake to manali about 7 hours walk. ( A desend trail, a down hill trek through Rodo & Pine forest, a ideal place to see brown bear. Watching of bear require a quite atmosphere.

Trek to Malana, No. of days 4

 

Day 01: Manali (1850 m) to Naggar (2300m) by drive, it is about 25 Km, it takes half an hour by drive, Trekking starts from this place after visiting the Naggar Fort & Reorich Art Gallery. Stay at camp at Rumsu village (2300m) Walk is about 2 hours.

Day 02: Rumsu village to Chanderkhani Pass (3700m) Walk through a natural trails in dense Deodar forest. The Pass is grassy land with Rododrandum bush. Walk about 7 hours.

Day 03: Chanderkhani Pass to Malana village. Malana is famous for its unique story. At the time of Alexander, some Greek people were settled over here in this place & they this they are the supreme in the world. the village culture & the design of the houses are interesting.

Day 04 : Malana to Jari & Drive back to Manali. The driving is through Parbati valley , a green, narrow & a deep valley leads towards the wide Kullu Valley.

Base: Manali,            Season : May to December

Zanskar:

Manali- Darcha- Lamayuru- Leh. No. of days: 22 or 23

This trekking route is popular for its variety of the view  of the two different areas. This route starts from green land towards dry land. Mainly it is Zanskar area. It has been called “ the moon land” “the little Tibet” or the “ last Shangri La” The view of the area is superb. It starts from the central Himalaya & goes towards the Karakorum Range. The culture & the local settlement are so interesting. The Phuktal Monastery  the school is the main attraction.

Day01: Manali (2000m) to Darcha ( 3400m) via Rohtang Pass ( 4000m) & Keylong (3500m) Manali to Darcha is about 7 hours drive. Ass the way is driving through two beautiful valley. One valley is green and other valley is dry desert. People here are Buddhist and Hindu.

Day02: Dhrcha to Zanskar sumdo (3800m). The area is full of the colour stone, view of barren land & huge morein. It is 6 hours walk.

Day03: Zanskar sumbdo (3900m) to Chumik Nakpo (4200m). A walk through narrow valley towards a open & wide pass. It is 7 hours walk.

Day04: Chumik Nakpoo to Lakhang (4500m) via Shinkula Pass (5100m). It is 8 hour walk.

Day 05: Lakhage to Karzak village (3800m) . It is 4 hour walk.

Day 06:  Karzak Village to Purni (3600m). It is 7 hour walk

Day07:  Purni

Day08:  Purni to Pepula (3200m). 7 hour walk.

Day09:  Pepula to Raru . 6 hour walk.

Day10: Raru to Padum (3500m). 4 hour walk.

Day11: Padum to Pishu. 6 hours walk.

Day12: Pishu to Hanumur (3800m). 7 hours walk.

Day13: Hanumur to Nyetse. 8 hours walk.

Day14: Nyetse to the other base of Hanamula Pass (4800m). 7 hours walk.

Day15: Hanamula Pass to Lingshed (4500m). 6 hours walk.

Day16: Lingshed to Gazho . 7hours walk.

Day17: Gazbo to Bumitse la pass. 6 hours walk

Day18: Bumitse la pass (4700m) to Photokasar. 8 hours walk

Day19: Photokasar to Hanuppatta . 7 hours walk.

Day20: Hanuppatta to Wanla Pass. 8 hours walk.

Day21: Wanla pass to Lamayuru & drive to Leh.

One or two day rest on the way

 

Base: Manali Season: July to October.
